Well, I’ve finally got round to doing a new personal project, mostly because I’ll be starting my new job at MindBlip in September, and I was wanting to brush up on CakePHP.

I’ve made an online time/task management thingy, which uses the Important/Urgent matrix which lots of clever productivity gurus always rave about. I’ve used it a bit, and what I find most useful is not so much the organization of the matrix, but more that it makes you think about how important and urgent a task is.

The idea was totally stolen from Oo, who I met at MultiPack a while back. Hope you don’t mind me stealing your idea, but feel free to fork/take the code.

You can check it out at http://impurger.sites.djangohosting.ch/ (I need to get a real domain name, and also a non-retarded name). You need OpenID to login/signup (if you don’t have one, you’re almost certainly not cool enough to use my super-awesome-cool-productivity-whiz-person application).

I might right a blog post about OpenID in Cake actually, watch this space.
